The camp schedule for January is as follows.

Brigade School Whitefield (near Phoenix Market City):

1) Kids Intermediate Weekday Batch: starts Jan 30th to March 2nd, Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 5 weeks, total 15 classes. Timings : 4.30-5.30 PM. Age 6 and above. Kids must be able to swim a breadth without a float or arm band.
2) Adult Beginner Weekend Camp: starts Jan 28th to March 17th, Saturday and Sunday only for 15 classes. Timings: 11AM-12 NOON. Age 15 years and above only.

Fees: Rs 4000 per head to be paid in cash on the first day or via net banking transfer in advance.

Halcyon (Koramangala)

1) Adult Beginner Weekend Camp: starts Jan 22nd to March 11th, Saturday and Sunday only for 15 classes. Timings: 9-10AM. Age 15 years and above only.
2) Adult Beginner Weekday Camp: starts Jan 20th to February 9th, Monday to Friday for 15 classes, Timings: 7-8 AM. Age 15 years and above only.

Registration is open at the hotel reception. Fees Rs 4000 per head to be paid by cash or card at the hotel along with one PP photo.

1) Adult Beginner Weekday Morning Camp: starts Jan 20th to February 9th, Monday to Friday for 15 classes, Timings: 7.15-8.15 AM. Age 15 years and above only.
2) Adult Beginner Weekday Evening Camp: starts Jan 20th to February 9th, Monday to Friday for 15 classes, Timings: 8-9 PM. Age 15 years and above only.
3) Adult Advanced Weekend Camp: starts 4th February to March 24th, Saturday and Sunday for 15 classes, Timings: 9.30-10.30 AM. Swimmers must know free, back and breaststroke and be able to swim at least 20 laps.

Karnataka State Billiards Association (Vasanthnagar):
1) Adult Beginner Weekend Camp: starts Jan 22nd to March 11th, Saturday and Sunday only for 15 classes. Timings: 11AM -12 NOON. Age 15 years and above only.

Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo was born and raised in London and became a Buddhist while still in her teens. At the age of twenty, she traveled to India, becoming one of the first Westerners to be ordained as a Buddhist nun. After six years of study with her teacher, he sent her to the Himalayan valley of Lahoul to undertake more intensive practice. She lived with a small group of nuns in a monastery there for another six years, doing frequent retreats in the long winter months. Seeking more seclusion and better conditions for practice, Tenzin Palmo found a nearby cave where she stayed and practiced for another twelve years, the last three years in strict retreat. The story of her life and experiences in her remote Himalayan cave is described in the book Cave in the Snow: a Western Woman’s Quest for Enlightenment by Vicki Mackenzie. She left the cave in 1988 and went to stay in Italy where she taught at various Dharma centres.

Deeply concerned with the plight of Buddhist nuns, she established Dongyu Gatsal Ling nunnery in India. In 2008 His Eminence the 12th Gyalwang Drukpa, head of the Drukpa Kagyu lineage, gave her the rare title of Jetsunma (Venerable Master).
