Photography workshop – 9-aug-2008 10-aug-2008 with wildlife and nature photographer Amoghavarsha(www.amoghavarsha.com)
A photography workshop for everyone, starting from the basics of photography to understanding your camera and processing your images. Get trained in the art of photography in the middle of a jungle.
This 2 day workshop includes everything from composition to getting your images on to the viewing medium. The workshop is held in the serene camp site of Forest trails and with a lot of focus on learning in the field.
Course contents:
1. Basics of photography – before looking through the viewfinder
2. Composition, getting the frame right and experiments with composition
3. Mastering exposure, understanding the basics of exposure
4. Understanding your camera
5. Guide to equipment – what to buy? How to care for your equipment
6. Post-processing session – From RAW file to print, web – using photoshop and other tools
7. Two outdoor sessions
8. A special Q&A session, to answer all your questions
9. Review of photographs
You don’t need a DSLR to attend this course, this course aims at making use of the full potential of your camera, be it a point and shoot camera or a DSLR.
Course cost: Rs 3000/- (includes all meals – from Saturday’s breakfast thru to Sunday’s lunch), transportation and accommodation Type of

Association of Bangalore Amateur Astronomers (ABAA) is a non-profit organization. It is one of the leading amateur astronomy clubs in India. Our activities include amateur telescope making, popularisation of astronomy, organising lectures and observation sessions for the public and much more.
The members meet on Saturdays and Sundays after 5 P.M at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Bangalore. An observation session open to the public is held on the first sunday of each month if the sky is clear.
