1. Old, clean Bedsheets
2. Cassette player 
3. Educational & Dance CD’s (They already have DVD player & TV)

You’re invited to take up any of these requirements or to join us in purchasing it for them by contributing.

We visited this Children’s home on 3rd October. The kids there are waiting for you all 
… They’re also going to showcase their dance talent for you next Sunday!

There is a whole Jaanapada feast arranged for all of us in front of Vidhana Soudha (opposite High Court), tomorrow and day after. The event starts at 5.30 pm with a SURPRISE BANG inauguration. There are beautiful stalls of Handloom and handicrafts awiting out there. Specially for people who are new to BengaLooru, this event is one of its kind and is celebrated at such a Ҭarge scaleҠin BengaLooru for the FIRST TIME.

And if you are expecting pizzas and burgers out thereŅŅ. Be sure to be disappointed coz, you will find only kajjaya, akki roTTi, raagi roTTi and purely stuff which you donӴ find everyday. Im sure its going to tickle your tastebudsŠAnd if you are waiting to see a disco, well!!! Im sure you would shake a leg with dollukuNita, hooja kuNita, paTTada kuNita, veeragaase, kamsaaLe, hulivesha, and many many more dance forms which you may not even be aware of. Trust me, its gonna get up and make you dance J

They have very familiar faces as RJs like Sihi Kahi Chandru, Actress Sindu and Uppi himself will be hosting one of the shows. Check the image below to see how many you can find. As of now they are playing really good Kannada Songs. Well probably they may force me to change the default radio station in my car audio. The star Upendra feels

Women only book group in Bangalore

Well I didn’t know this. Bangalore has an all women book club who meet and discuss about the books.Its called Bangalore Book Group and run by group including Rani Sanghera ( ranisanghera at hotmail.com ).They have been meeting and discussing about the books since three months.The members are a mixed bunch of Indian women and expats, working in all fields and with various
interests and tastes in books.
They take turns every month to nomiate a book for the group to read and them meet for lunch somewhere nice to have a chat. Our new book is Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell and the next meeting will be on Sunday 8th October.
If ppl would like to join us they can email Rani Sanghera ( ranisanghera at hotmail.com ) and start reading current book, we will be meeting next on the 8th of October- Venue to be decided
