The event known as Jingle Rock – was started in 1994 by the Medical
students of college. The in house event gained popularity over the
years in the neighborhood. And from this Jingle Rock onwards we are
opening the event for Public. The highlight of the program remains
the musical – with a choir of 60 medical students and 15 doctors
singing Christmas Carols and a Theatrical Presentation of Birth of
Jesus Christ by doctors and staff of St. Johns. Laser show and
Pyrotechnics will add glam to the night, which will end with a Bonfire
Party.
A Christmas Fete will be open at the venue same day from evening 3:00 Pm onwards

Commencement date: 31st July, 2010

Duration of the programme: 4 months of classroom sessions and NGO internship + 1 month of project work.
Target audience: NGO founders, staff, trustees, social change agents in corporates, academic institutions and active volunteers
Course objectives:
Ø To introduce the concept of social entrepreneurship
Ø To show the potential of social entrepreneurship to address organisational and resource challenges
Ø to orient socially conscious individuals to the opportunities and needs in the social sector and social entrepreneurship as a means to make social work practice sustainable and effective
