We are a classic rock band based out of Bangalore, India. Our band was formed in September 2002. Our main influences are the classic rock acts of the 70’s and early 80’s including Deep Purple, Credence Clearwater Revival, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blue Oyster’s Cult, Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam, Guns N’ Roses, Van Halen and UFO. We released a self titled album comprising four original compositions in March 2004. This album was adjudged “Album of the Year” at Freedom Jam 2004

Panchi Parameshi will be played at RangaShankara this week (27Jun2006 to 30Jun2006). The play is written and directed by S Surendranath. And enacted by Sanket. Bangalore. The play is about 110 minutes and is in Kannada.

Samashti is organising ‘Sunday School Of Drama’ in association with Vesha and Sri Sharada Vidhyalaya. As quoted from theit site

The school of drama is especially designed to help the working class people and the students to learn basics of theatre art. This will give them a forum to pursue their theatre hobbies. This special wing of Samashti with professional faculties, has a dream of creating theatre and cultural awareness and thereby building a healthy society.

Anybody between the age group 16 to 30 is eligible. And for the current scheme the interviews are on 2/july/2006 and classes are expected to start on 9/july/2006. The fees will be Rs200/month. The classes will be held at Sri Sharada Vidyalaya, 97/1, Vinayaka Block, Amrith Nagara, Bangalore – 560092.
